Effective August 29, 2019, the maximum validity of E-1 and E-2 visas for French E visa applicants will be  decreased to 15 months from the current visa validity period of 60 months.

This information reportedly is being provided to all current French E visa applicants. It is further confirmed on the website of the U.S. Embassy in Paris, France. The Embassy reports that this change is being made on a reciprocal basis commensurate with the treatment by the government of France afforded to U.S. citizens applying for similar visas.
